StackAdapt - Lead Engineer - AWS Infrastructure Management

• Extensive experience with AWS
• Experience with building services that focus on infrastructure
• Proven track record of delivering results and leading growing, high-impact teams
• At least 5 years experience of software development in distributed systems, architecting scalable microservices and data pipelines in a successful high-growth technology company
• At least 1 year of leadership experience, including all the responsibilities listed above
• A strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms
• Up to date knowledge and experience in the latest technologies, tools, and frameworks
• Experience with Go and high performance databases is a plus

The Infrastructure Team:The Infrastructure team is designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust and scalable infrastructure foundation that supports the operation of our applications and services while working in tandem with the DevOps engineering team. The team plays a crucial role in ensuring the availability, security, and performance of our cloud-based systems and strives to architect and optimize the network, storage, and server infrastructure, leveraging the latest AWS technologies and best practices. The goal is to empower the DevOps team to rapidly develop and deploy innovative software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our stakeholders while maintaining the highest standards of security and reliability in the cloud environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Working with team of engineers focused on designing and building robust infrastructure on AWS
• Implement capacity planning framework, and design data replication and disaster recovery services
• Architect scalable low-latency systems and data pipelines. Write code as needed to support the team.
• Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers within the backend distributed systems team
• Make a positive impact on the team's productivity and growth
• Promote software development best-practices and conduct rigorous code reviews
• Rigorously identify and solve technical challenges
• Conduct interviews to attract and identify potential high performing candidates
• Balance and prioritize projects to maximize efficiency and ensure company objectives are achieved
