Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent industry experience may be considered. Data Science qualifications would be a plus.

Experience:

5+ years of systems analysis experience, preferably in inventory management, retail, or supply chain, with a focus on RFID.

5+ years of experience following, participating, and supporting Agile or Scrum processes as a Systems Analyst.

Strong experience providing technical requirements for medium to large initiatives, preferably in Retail.

Technical Skills:

Familiarity with IT SDLC processes (both waterfall and agile).

Experience or understanding of or with CI/CD pipelines, automation, container management, application performance engineering, monitoring, alerting, AWS services, and architecture would be a plus

Knowledge and usage of the tech stack including NEDAP’s Id Cloud, Kafka, APIs, SQL query generation, Power BI, Python, and collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Teams, Zoom, and Miro.

High-level familiarity with observability tools, such as DataDog, PagerDuty, Splunk, and ServiceNow.

About this team

This role is on Inventory Intelligence team in the lululemon technology organization. This team and products RFID and EIS are the technology and platforms at the heart of one of the key ingredients that powers our ability to deliver a best-in-class omni guest experience, which is inventory.

RFID has been a competitive advantage for us in our approach to inventory since its inception in 2015. It allows us to always know where product is with the highest degree of accuracy. This in turn allows us to not only manage inventory better, but it honour’s our guest's time, ensuring that if the product is available, it’s on the floor. Equally important, it’s an essential part of our ability to connect the physical and digital experience and drives all our key OMNI channel programs. EIS enables our customers and educator supporting platforms to have accurate store inventory beyond the four walls of our store.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyzing data, and working with our Solution architect to design efficient system changes to meet business goals.

What they want you to do: 

This System Analyst position is technical, bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions and involved with high-complexity, high-impact deliveries from inception through implementation deliveries. This role is key to ensuring alignment between business strategies and technical implementations. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing business processes and needs and working with our Solution architect in identifying technical solutions and our development team in delivering those solutions. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, technology teams, and cross functional departments to ensure the successful implementation and optimization of inventory retail systems.

Technical Solutions Design & Implementation:

Review business requirements and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.

Support technical impact assessments as needed and manage dependencies, ensuring that architectural decisions are included in the design.

Engage with Solution Architect and engineering team to support the design, configuration, and implementation of technical solutions.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment within project technical constraints.

Support tech partners with how product works from requirements/technical perspective

Production Support & Troubleshooting:

Help troubleshoot and be involved in the triage process.

Contribute to all areas of production support, including process creation, response, root cause analysis, and process refinement.

Apply in-depth knowledge of applications to drive resolution of cross-application troubleshooting or problem-solving across teams and systems.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement or surface possible data and system issues.

Create and maintain reports to support business decision-making and provide actionable recommendations and or to meet requests from the business for data needs.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

Support QA in Developing and documenting testing strategies and test cases for product development ensuring that the system features or technical solutions meets technical requirement and functions correctly.

Assist in testing and participate in test phases prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as needed.

Update technical specifications based on testing outcomes, prioritized defects, or post-release lessons learned.

Communication & Documentation:

Support communication efforts for application/system deployment.

Create diagrams and documentation for processes, including triage and JIRA workflows.

Document technical solutions to identified problems.
