- Shipped AAA games on consoles and PC or mobile devices.
- Demoscene mindset, with the ability to balance the technical with practical considerations.
- Experience creating engaging and interactive user experiences through well-crafted gameplay mechanics.
- You want to collaborate with game designers, artists, and other engineers to achieve project goals.
- Balance the creative vision with technical feasibility, ensuring gameplay mechanics are fun and realisable.

We are looking for a Senior Gameplay Programmer, a programmer who can translate the creative vision into implementation in a game engine.
You have expertise in programming, gameplay systems, and game engine technologies, complemented by an analytical and creative mindset. You have experience creating immersive game experiences with code as your paintbrush. You believe in the cooperation between gameplay, art, and engineering. You will bridge ideas with the latest research from SEED and the latest technology at EA to develop experiences that were previously beyond reach.
This new initiative is made up of a hybrid of top talent, all working together in the beautiful city of Montréal, Québec, Canada. With its rich history of game development, this vibrant, creative hub is the perfect backdrop for our endeavour.
You will report to the team’s Game Design Director.
As a Senior Gameplay Programmer at SEED, you will:
- Develop gameplay features that define the experience.
- Translate creative concepts into functional gameplay elements.
- Perform hands-on coding and debugging to ensure smooth and responsive gameplay.
- Improve game performance and mechanics to provide a seamless and enjoyable player experience.
- Provide technical feedback and support during the development process to improve gameplay quality.
