  • At least 3+ years of experience designing for complex applications, such as creative tools, game engines or 3D software. Experience UX design and prototyping with Figma, including usability testing

  • Draw on your mixed-methods research background to Identify research opportunities, build research roadmap planning, and handle expectations with collaborators.
  • Enjoy solving complex user problems using data and customer feedback to present design concepts and inform design decisions.
  • A portfolio or project showing user centered designs demonstrating how you used research and data to inform your decisions.

What they want you to do: 

We are seeking a creative and collaborative UX Designer to help shape the tools that empower our global teams to create world-class characters and experiences for EA games. You will work with teams to ensure that end-users have a smooth and seamless experience.

We need a designer who is used to working in undefined territory. You will report to a Development Director and work with a Senior Experience Designer.

Day to day, you will...

  • Work on complex design challenges and guide new research projects to help tackle them.
  • Undertake discovery and user research, collecting feedback to comprehend user needs, pain points, and preferences. With these insights, influence product strategies and vision and distil them, along with competitive analysis, into user-centered design goals, incorporating the findings into subsequent design revisions.
  • Visualise and prototype intended solutions at multiple levels of fidelity, including high-level wireframes, conceptual designs, design presentations and detailed specifications.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively with fellow UX team members, technical artists, product managers, and software engineers who are geographically distributed across the globe.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UX design, and apply them to improve usability and user experience of our tools.
  • Validate or debunk your assumptions by putting your work in front of users.
