  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Science, or equivalent practical experience

What they want you to do: 

The candidate will architect, design, and implement Transportation Operations and Train Control/PTC solutions to meet CPKC requirements and business goals. They will collaborate with enterprise and solution architects to develop core Enterprise Architecture artifacts and strategies, modernizing Transportation Operations and Train Control/PTC applications. Additionally, they will serve as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project customers.

This position reports to the Sr. Enterprise Architecture Lead, the candidate will focus on enterprise capabilities for Transportation Operations and Train Control/PTC systems. We are looking for someone who can exhibit technical expertise, identify gaps, cultivate positive relationships, and lead in these applications.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Deliver advisory services to IT functions, supporting technology-enabled business change
  • Architect, manage, and integrate on-premises, cloud, and SaaS-based solutions, including public and hybrid clouds, and modernize legacy applications
  • Deconstruct key business problems to identify value areas and implement complex technology solutions
  • Develop an integrated business architecture through process mapping, key measures, and optimization opportunities
  • Collaborate with senior business leaders and Enterprise/Solution Architects to develop and deliver transformation roadmaps and programs, ensuring strategic initiatives realize their value
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders, earning trust and credibility
  • Lead discussions to optimize decision-making and drive value across the organization
